John Paul Vincent

Overview

Artist John Paul Vincent works with watercolor and collaged tissue paper to create luminous and atmospheric renditions of rural landscapes. His timeless works evoke a sense of calm and wonder, allowing the viewer to become immersed in the etheral world he creates.

“My work is based on my lifelong fascination with the ancient past, the passage of time, and the connection between landscape and memory. My goal with each piece is to create an image that exists somewhere between the representational and the abstract. In doing so, I hope to make an image that is both intimate but powerful, of this world, but dreamlike.” – John Paul Vincent
