Danna Ray
Danna Ray's paintings explore sensory perceptions of time and movement in changing landscapes. She paints directly on location and from her studio deep in the woods of the Black Mountains of North Carolina. While painting en plein air, Danna is captivated by the subtle changes of the landscape and explores the qualities of light, dimensionality, and shape within the confines of each piece.
