Contemporary works depicting area woods and waterfalls feature highly textural surfaces that emphasize their subjects’ sculptural planes. Bisson’s current collection includes large-scale oil and mixed media paintings on linen along with several works on paper. A new hardcover book featuring an essay on the artist’s use of paper and images of many of the works in the show is available.
