Stephen Paul Day
Stephen Paul Day is an avid seeker of the curious and wonderful. His recent work often mines fairy tales for themes such as truth and deception, beauty and beastliness, innocence and its loss. Often working with cast bronze and glass, Day's work opens a narrative for the viewer to become completely imersed in.
Day has recieved numerous residencies including the Kohler Arts Center, Tacoma Museum, and Wheaton Arts in New Jersey. He has been a visiting artist in Australia, Japan and France. Day's work is represented in many private collections as well as the Huntsville Museum of Art, the Corning Museum of Glass, and Musee des Arts Decoratifs in Lausuanne, Switzerland among others.
Day now lives and works in both New Orleans, and Berlin, Germany.
