"Under the Same Moon is a solo exhibition of 15 new paintings exploring the quiet magic of twilight and the shared experience of being human. I have always been drawn to that fleeting time of day when plants begin to fall into silhouette, contrasts deepen, the wind softens, and the natural world seems to pause. As the sun slips below the horizon, the moon begins to rise—large and luminous, floating slowly into the evening sky. There is something dreamlike about this transition, a moment of stillness and quiet reverence.
"These paintings are a meditation on what connects us. Nature does not belong to one person, one place, or one way of seeing. We all inhabit this earth. We all experience wonder, longing, beauty, loss, and the passage of time. And every night, wherever we are, we look up at the same moon." –Ivy Jacobsen, 2026
