Joanna Manousis Zoom Artist Talk

All Are Welcome
October 29, 2024

JOANNA MANOUSIS continuously pushes the boundaries of traditional sculpture. Her work with glass, which often imitates other materials and recognizable objects, delves into themes of materialism, memory, domesticity, and vanity, inviting introspection and reflection. Her dedication to the medium has earned her a place among the most esteemed artists in the field. Manousis holds an MFA in sculpture from Alfred University, NY, and is currently pursuing a PhD at The National Glass Centre through the University of Sunderland, UK, researching innovative uses of three-dimensional cast glass mirrors.

Momentum Gallery is pleased to have placed works for Manousis in the permanent collections of the Huntsville Museum of Art, Alabama, and the Ringling Museum of Art, Florida.
