10th Annual Small Works | Big Impact: group exhibition

November 5, 2026 - January 30, 2027

Celebrating its tenth year, Small Works | Big Impact brings together a lively, imaginative collection of contemporary art that reflects Momentum Gallery's spirit. Spanning a remarkable range of media—including painting, collage, glass, and upcycled rubber—the exhibition invites viewers into worlds shaped by nature and narrative, curiosity and wonder, and the expressive power of color. Dreamlike and surreal figurative works share the gallery with nature-inspired encaustics, mandala-like drawings of tree rings, atmospheric skyscape collages, embroidered photographs, magical glass sculptures that play with light and optics, and intricate beaded botanicals. Elsewhere, paintbrushes become canvases for miniature scenes, while non-objective abstractions explore color, form, and movement.

Though modest in scale, these works reveal the extraordinary imagination, technical skill, and individual vision of their makers. Each offers an opportunity for discovery, whether through a familiar subject seen in an unexpected way, an intriguing material transformation, or a moment of visual delight that lingers long after viewing. Together, the works show that artistic impact isn't measured in dimensions, but in the ideas, emotions, and sense of wonder a work can inspire. Ten years on, Small Works | Big Impact celebrates the boundless possibilities of contemporary art—and the outsized impression a small work can leave.
