And, I’ll never forget the sounding of its death knoll years later, as the Cuyahoga River that fed into it, actually caught fire–-the result of unregulated industrial waste. It got our attention.
Hard-fought regulations put in place over the last half century have restored clean waterways, rebuilt habitat and preserved ecosystems. Today’s decisions regarding deregulation could set us back lifetimes. Let’s pay attention." – Ron Layport
